Hot on the heels of their Exclusive BBC Radio 1 Guest Mix for DJ Monki & Annie Nightingale earlier this month, Kachina drop their 5th release on Affectionate Grooves entitled 'Festival' — returning with regular collaborators Afua, NexGen resident vocalist Dee Ellington, and new addition to the gang and lead vocalist on this production, Amazee.

Kicking off the EP is Amazee's amazing “One Love” with a sound that soothes just like milk and honey… Smooth, sweet and soulful with deep vocals combined to create a classic house feel.

Amazee takes control again with title track “Festival” – still maintaining that deep sound but with a Notting Hill Carnival tinged flavor with vibes deeply rooted in West London street party.

“Chase” features the soft but powerful vocals of Afua entwined with Kachina's trademark impressive and distinctive sound. This piece has a vibe that would fit comfortably in a classic CJ Mackintosh set from the 90's.

Rounding off proceedings is Dee Ellington's “A Place Called Home” coming at you with a slower and more classic 90's acid house vibe. As always Dee doesn't let us down, delivering a heart felt performance to round off another mouthwatering EP from the NexGen Music / Affectionate Grooves camp.

There is simply no stopping Kachina and their group of talented friends. Enjoy this fine release and look out for more music, styles, class, and quality from our imprints coming soon!!

Listen, buy, and enjoy! :)
