NexGen Networking
Dan is one of three co-organizers of the popular DC Electronic Music Meetup Group . The group has a network of over 1,100 members and believes that its growing community is becoming more recognized as an important part of DC’s vibrant electronic dance music community. The group’s inclusive “no ego” philosophy provides fertile ground for the area’s ever-expanding dance music scene.
The group unites electronic dance music enthusiasts from all backgrounds - DJ’s and producers, but mostly music lovers and clubbers. Anyone can recommend an event to attend, and ‘Meetup’. Dan explains, “The DC Electronic Music Meetup Group is what I've dubbed as a 'promoter agnostic' group. We post nightlife events that interest us and our members, regardless of the venue or who is throwing the party. It’s very inclusive. Our members just want to go out and have a good time.”

NexGen Live
NexGen Music is on a mission to incorporate live band & acts in the DC area. ‘Live ‘N’ Tronic’ is a live music event series which fuses the organic sounds of acoustic instruments with the energy of electronic music. It features top local DJs performing with musicians and singers live on stage. Past shows have featured guitar, synth, congas, and saxophone, accompanying various styles of electronic dance music.
NexGen has already hosted successful Live ‘N’ Tronic nights at DC’s beloved U Street Music Hall and the back bar of the legendary 9:30 Club. By pulling in a host of fresh DJ talent from the group, NexGen has kept the crowds moving with a mixture of many variations of House, Drum & Bass, Downtempo & Future Bass music.

NexGen Music has identified Washington, DC as a hotbed of talent and is actively seeking to sign up-and-coming local artists across all dance music genres. NexGen offers its artists a personalized and proactive service. It also strives to unite new talent with established names, creating a close-knit family of artists who collaborate and communicate on a regular basis.
