Soulful Nature

Soulful Nature (Richard Gundelach) is a Leicester, UK-based music producer specializing in the bass variety. As the name suggests, his production tends to veer towards the more 'soulful' side of music. And with a love for all things vinyl his inspiration comes from many different music genres, whether it be soul, funk, jazz, and everything in between.

Rich currently divides his time between sampling everything and anything, teaching students about the magic of music technology, writing music, DJ'ing and raising his son to understand the beauty of analogue warmth.

Hearing a tape by Kenny Ken and Stevie Hyper D from an old-skool Dreamscape compilation, Soulful Nature became totally immersed in the sounds of Drum and Bass, and began his journey into learning the art and should of the genre. After many years of honing his production style and techniques, Rich began sending out his music and caught the ear of Rob Sparx, who signed 'Passing By' and 'Give You My Love' on his inaugural release on NexGen's Migration Recordings imprint.
